The Fire Precautions (workplace) Regulations of 1997 requires employers to provide adequate training for their staff in general fire precautions and the use of Fire Extinguishers. Also, the "Fire Safety" Employers guide states " Fire safety training should be provided and repeated as necessary (usually once or twice a year)."
